Application
PROFI104 Slave is an
intelligent PC/104 board designed to integrate embedded
systems into a PROFIBUS network in a cost effective
and east to use way.
PROFI104 operates as
a full featured DP slave according to European standard
EN 50 170, part 2.
A sophisticated ASIC
(SPC3) performs ow level operaions designing the interface
for transfer rates up to 12 Mbit/s.The number of supported
I/O points is only limited by the ASIC, meaning the
performance of up to 244 byted input or output data
each.
